NETSEAL holt sich Kapital für Expansion
Espoo, 9. Oktober 2006 – Eines der führenden finnischen Venture
Capital-Unternehmen (VC) hat sich an Netseal, dem finnischen Anbie-
ter von sicheren mobilen Lösungen für den „Anytime and anywhere“-
Netzwerk-Access, beteiligt. Wie Netseal mitteilt, wird die Beteiligung
für den weiteren Ausbau der weltweiten Vertriebsaktivitäten von
Netseal auf dem globalen Network Control Access-Markt verwendet
werden.
Im Rahmen dieser Finanzierungsrunde erweitert Netseal seine Präsenz auf
internationaler Ebene. Wie das Unternehmen mitteilt, liegt dabei der Fokus
auf den Märkten in Europa, Nordamerika und im asiatisch-pazifischen
Raum. Netseal zählt in Europa bereits zu den ersten Adressen, wenn es
um sichere Lösungen für den mobilen Netzwerkzugang geht. Das Unter-
nehmen, das maßgeblich an der Entwicklung des mobilen IP-Standards in
Zusammenarbeit mit der IETF beteiligt war und darüber hinaus eine Reihe
von TCP/IP-basierenden Patenten hält, hat mit Mobile Private Networks,
MPN®, eine Plattform geschaffen, die den sicheren mobilen Client-Zugang
